WHAT DOES RHYTHM TOUCH™ THERAPY DO?
Much of muscle and nerve pain stems from various conditions;
strain, lactic acid build up, or scar tissue to name a few. The Rhythm
Touch™ uses electronic muscle stimulation that reaches deep into
the muscle tissue to stimulate proprioceptive impulses. No
other device on the market matches the effectiveness of the
Rhythm Touch™ Therapy system. |

The Rhythm Touch™ is an electric stimulation acu-therapy
treatment used by most physical therapists, acupuncturists, and
chiropractors. Rhythm Touch™ Therapy is the most effective form of
tension relief used by doctors for over 40 years. The low frequency acu-therapy will relieve your body of
tension and stiffness by
combining the principles of massage, electricity, and muscle
stimulation.
The Rhythm Touch™ provides deep muscle tissue with kinetic forms
of percussion and concussion, vibration and stimulation, which
in turn facilitates the patient or athlete with the benefits of:

The Rhythm Touch™ also concentrates on general or local muscle
spasms. It increases muscle metabolism and increases the lactic
acid cycle to relieve tension. Deep, rapid, short-duration
percussion is the key to the elimination of tension. The Rhythm
Touch™ can be used to effectively manage, acute and chronic
discomfort not exclusive to, but including (the): back, neck, knee, rotator cuff
discomfort, arthritis, migraines, headaches,
sciatica, TMJ discomfort, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, bursitis,
edema, myofacial tension, and frozen joints.
The Deep Muscle Stimulator is known to increase the circulation
of blood and lymph flow. The direct mechanical effect of
rhythmical pressure and movement made by the Rhythm Touch™, can
dramatically increase the rate of blood flow. The stimulation of
nerve receptors causes the blood vessels to dilate, which also
facilitates blood flow.
The Rhythm Touch™ can help loosen contracted, shortened muscles
and can stimulate weak, flaccid muscles. This muscle "balancing"
can help improve posture and promote more efficient movement.
Rhythm Touch™ is also being used for Integrated Manual Therapy
and Musculoskeletal Dysfunction.By using the Rhythm Touch™, it is possible to increase your
exercise and training regime, which in the long run strengthens
muscles and improves conditioning. The Rhythm Touch™ also provides a
gentle stretching action to both the muscles and connective
tissues that surround and support the muscles and many other
parts of the body, which helps keep these tissues elastic.
The Rhythm Touch™ also aids in the recovery from soft tissue
injuries such as sprains and strains. This is possible because
the growth and the repairing of tissue, is accelerated by
creating efficient circulation in the injured areas, and
appropriate stimulation of the healing tissues.
TECHNICAL CLASSIFICATION
The Rhythm Touch™ is a medical device within the meaning of
section 201(h) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 321 (h), because it is
intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions
or in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease,
or is intended to affect the structure or function of the body.
Specifically, the Rhythm Touch™ was cleared via premarket
notification (510(k)) K032178 for relaxation of muscle spasms,
prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy, increasing local
blood circulation, muscle re-education, immediate post-surgical
stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis, and
for maintaining or increasing range of motion. The Rhythm Touch™
has also been cleared via premarket notification K063743 for
temporary relief of pain associated with sore and aching muscles
in lower back due to strain from exercise or normal household
and work activities.
Intended use of the device:
Electrically powered devices intended for medical purposes that
repeatedly contracts muscles by passing electrical currents
through electrodes
contacting the affected body area.
